For the Advanced Crafter…

February 2, by Christina. 2 Comments

Here’s a kit for a tween that is a more advanced crafter. Perhaps she already knows how to knit, now they can knit a scarf from start to finish…including dying the yarn!

The kit comes with:

  • a skein of sparkly white acrylic yarn
  • 5 dye colors (with which you can mix countless hues)
  • dye cups
  • disposable gloves
  • glass beads, sequins, beading thread
  • a microwave tray
  • instructions

coloryarn.JPGThe possibilities are endless with this kit. You can have a more traditional colored scarf or go totally funky! There are beads to add a little bling bling and add an even more personal touch. Your child will be fascinated by the process of dying the yarn this may turn into a new passion for you as well. The photo below is an example of a finished scarf.

You’re right…my daughter loves any kind of dye work.
And this kit is a good price.
