Whilst slime may seem easy to make sometimes it can be hit and miss. To be honest, for kids that is all part o the fun, but when you are making it for gifting you want success. I have to say one of the best products I used for guaranteed results, I picked up off the bottom shelf of my supermarket aisle. It was Elmers slime kit. It comes in all different kits, but I just picked up the basic one at the time and the kids added their own things such as Glitter
, cut out shapes
and pom-poms.

Snow Slime In A Jar – Homemade Gifts For Kids
When making slime to gift, make sure you use airtight containers and always use clean utensils and wash your hands, this helps to reduce the chances of mold growing on your slime. This makes it easier to make it up a few days before you gift it without any issues. I like to gift my slime in wide-mouthed containers, it makes it easier for hands of all sizes to get it out of the container. It also makes it easier for them to put it away too. Slime should always be kept away from small children and animals. You may want to add some extra items for the kids to mix into their slimes, such as pom-poms or trinkets. The kids then can add their own addins to a basic colored slime recipe. This will give them the feeling of making their own slime but without all the hassle of course.

Slime is a great stress reliever as well as an educational tool, not only does it teach science but it is hands-on , which means children are using their fine motor skills to make and or play with slime.
