Didn’t like this one!

So far I’ve had glowing reviews for the products I have featured. Unfortunately, today, I have to tell you about a product that I am less than impressed by.
I went to Hobby Lobby (my favorite store on earth) and picked up a few supplies for a project I’m working on. I thought that I would pick up a few things for Lindsey to do while I was there. I got her a cute belt kit, which I will tell you about after we have finished it, a few paper mache eggs for her to paint for Easter, and a Paint-by-Number kit. The kit was only $.99 so I thought this would be a great start to painting.
Jacob was napping and I was trying to get my craft room in order (still!) and Lindsey was getting restless so we got out her “new” paint-by-number kit. The paint was dryed out! I thought, maybe it’s water colors, nope! What a dissapointment! I know it wasn’t the most expensive thing and it’s not about the money. Fortunately, I have craft paint on hand, so she was still able to paint it, but what if someone had bought it and didn’t have things on hand?
The kit is also for children 8 and under, but I found it to be confusing. Instead of just one number in a section, they wanted the kids to mix the colors. That’s a bit advanced for that age group.
My tip to stores…check these products occasionally to make sure they are still good! This item wasn’t on clearance, but must have set on that shelf for quite some time!
Below is a picture of the product so if you are thinking of purchasing this item, try to move the paint around to see if it’s dried out. I give this product a big, fat F!
